This was a very interesting video and I totally agree with Dr. Lina. We are definitely teaching our children a way they can behave whenever we discipline them. With that being said we should be very cautious of the way we do things. She stated that praising them teaches them to praise others, spanking them teaches them to be aggressive, when we listen to them we teach them how to listen to others and when we meet their needs we teach them how to meet the needs of others. So what do you think? What do you want your child to be...A listener, praiser, a person who meet the needs of other, aggressive, or all? That's really something to think about.
